A donation to the Mackay Foundation is a gift that keeps on giving. All donations to The Foundation are treated as capital.
Only the income generated from the invested capital is distributed regularly to nominated charities and causes in the Mackay region. This process works to continually build our capital and provide more yearly income to distribute.
Below is an outline of the total distributions made by The mackay Foundation to date. Please choose from the links on the right to see details of distributions from previous years.

Not-for-profit organisations in the Mackay region are invited to apply to The Mackay Foundation for grants of up to $3,000 for charitable projects.
The aim of The Mackay Foundation is to apply funds towards the help, aid, relief, or support of persons in distress in Mackay and the districts surrounding Mackay in the form of education, care, housing or other assistance as needed. Applications that address one or more of the above areas will be given preference.
Due to changes in government regulation The Mackay Foundation is only able to fund organisations that have DGR1 status. We are no longer able to fund via auspicing arrangements.
The next grant round closes at 5.00pm on 28th March 2013.
